Apollon Town Meeting, October 19, 2017

In this meeting, our panel moderated by Maddie Brown who is a 11 year old female student  and practices dancing in the dance club discussed wheter we should discontinue club activity in elementaly school. As a background of this discussion, recent some teachers have to teache elementaly school students sports. Teachers’ job is teaching study. This is a burden for them.

The panelists today were:

Emilly Gay: a 15 year female high school student and Youtuber agrees with this topic. She feels that children should have more free time. Club activity is a hard work and has stress about her. And she thinks that if children want to be good at something, they should practice it outside of school.

Carey Mulligan: a 35 year female secretary thinks thatactivity outside of school is good but one in school is bad. She says activity can make memories in school if children do club activity in school but can’t do it in elementaly school.

Shelly Bezallius: a 25 year female writerdosen’t agree this topic (=she thinks that we should contimue club activity in elementaly school.). In club activity, children cooperate with friends. And she says that club activity outside of school costa a lot of money but it in school costs a little money. It is helpful for parents.

Lily Davis: a 30 year female baker is not interested in this topic.

The discussion didn’t seem to be moving toward a consensus. I think we should abolish club activity in elementary school and everyone joins each club team. And a burden of teachers will dwindle. This is an equal solution.

greenpink

We produced a “green pink”. It is mixed peach and kiwi. Kiwi is green and peach is pink, so we named so. Good point of this food is juicy and sweet. Bad point is too soft. When we grasp it tightly,it’s color is changed.

Huckle Berry Finn

You don’t know about me if you haven’t read a book called The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Mr Mark Twain wrote the book and most of it is true. In that book robbers stole some money and hid it in a very secret place in the woods. But Tom Sawyer and I found it, and after that we were rich. 61bh4Jyn1UL__SX359_BO1,204,203,200_

I read “Huckle berry Finn”. This book is the second volume of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”. The main character is Huckle Berry Finn. He is a free boy and  he says that I don’t need my house. And he dosen’t go to shcool and sleeps at any time. He starts to go down Mississippi in a raft to run away from his rough father.

This book is interesting. I want to be Huckle Berry Finn because he is breave. I like “Huckle Berry Finn” than “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”.

Bad Company

Noise. Headache. Dry mouth.

Half asleep, Helen Shepherd turned over in bed, but the noise didn’t stop. A moment later she woke up.

The noise. It was her dry mouth made it difficult to talk. And her head hurt quite badly. Too much wine last night!51md3bUpieL

I read “Bad Company”.Thid book is a mistery story. I was little difficult to read.

‘I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news,’ said Detective Inspector Helen Shepherd. ‘We found a body on the beach this morning. We belive it is Claudia Engel. We also belive that someone murdered her.’

‘What?’ McNab’s mouth fell open. ‘Claudia? I don’t believe it. It can’t be true.

Alice In Wonderland

Alice and her vig sister sat under a three one sunny day. Alice’s sister had a book, but Alice had nothing with her. She looked at her sister’s book. There were no pictures or conversations in it.9780582421233_p0_v1_s260x420

I read “Alice In Wonderland”. One summer day, Alice sees a white rabbit and runs after it. She follows it down a rabbit – hole – and arrives in ‘Wonderland’. Here, caterpillars can talk, rabbits have watches and the Queen wants to cut off everbody’s head!

I have ever watched this book’s movie, so it was easy to finish reading it. There are some differences from the movie. I want to watch it again.

Just Liek A Movie

I love the movies. New movies, old movies. I went to the movies a lot in Toront. And it all started when I met Gina at the movies.

I read “Just Like A Movie”. Brad Black likes the movie. He goes every we5952978051114150840700Picekend with his girlfriend, Gian. They are happy, but they have no money. Then Brad has an idea and thinks that real life can be just like the movies and that’s when things go wrong.

I think that Brad’s idea is funny because it is simply. Money is really important and is needed, but being obsessed with money is not good. Tow women may think that serve him right!

Little Women

The place was a small town in Massachusetts, North America. It was a cold evening inDecember 1826. Snow was falling softly.

I read “Little Women”. This book’s japanese name is “Wakakusa Monogatari”.99687150 There are four sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March. The March girls live with their mother in a small town. Their father is away because of a war and they don’t have much money. But the girls have happy times.

I like a scene that their father came back to their home on christmas day. I’m happy to find the girls are very glad .

Three Tomorrows

‘Oh no!’ said Joe Turner. ‘When I go on the computer, all I get is spam – email that nobody wants. It’s all from people who are trying to sell you things. Email which is trying to getmoney from you. Email that says it canhelp your love life.15020

I read “Theree Tomorrows”. Three stories which ask questions about the world in five years, in a hundred years and in fifteen hundred years. Can an email tell us what to buy? How can you know if someone is a machine or a person? What are the dreams of the last woman to live?

After reading this book, I want to see my future.

Hotel Casanova

20 April was Diano Bracco’s twenty-first birthday. He worked. Giovanni, his boss at the Hotel Grand, brought him a cake from the hotel kitchen. ‘Just twenty-one!’ said Giovanni, and he put his hand on Dino’s back. ‘Ah, Dino, Dino… when I was twenty-one…!’633679647657343750

I read “Hotel Casanova”. The main character, Dino, was 21 and worked in a hotel in the beautiful city of venice. The woman who came to the hotel liked to talk to him. She is a veary beautiful woman, so Dino got to love her. And they were married. But…

I thought this story is very romantic at first, but actually it was different from it. I felt women’s fear.

John Doe

‘What’s your name?’ asked Doctor Cox.

The man in the bed did not answer.

‘Open your eyes,’ said Doctor Cox.

The man in the bed opened his eyes. He looked at the doctor.8109d8ec4a

I read “John Doe”. The main character, John Doe, is a kye person. He lies in a hospital bed and is asked “who are you?” by the Doctor Cox. But John Doe doesn’t answer his questions. If you read this book, you can find who he is.

When I found who he is, I was very surprised. I think that this book is a book filled with a lot of thrills.
