SUPERBIRD

Good morning. Welcome to Radio News Today. Twenty years ago today Superbird crashed into a hill in the middle of a desert. We all read the news in the Daily Start that said five people died

But now I can tell you the good news. Only four people died! That’s right….

I read “SUPERBIRD”.Superbird Level 2 (Cambridge English Readers)

Twenty years ago, the spaceship whose name is Superbird arrived at a planet. Then there are five crews in it but four crews died except Mary Mount. She was helped and had lived for 20 years. She returned home at sixty years old. But when she is back home with her own people, the real trouble begins.

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court

“How lovely! This is from a picture book!”

“What year is it?”   “It’s 528-the nineteenth of June.”

I read “A Connection Yankee in King Arthur’s Court”

Hank Morgan is a happy young man in Connecticut, USA in 1879 until one day someone runs into his office and shouts, “Come quickly, Boss! Two men are fighting.” After this, something very strange happens to him, and his life changes forever.

This book is like a comic so I could enjoy it.

Circle Games

‘Well, just take a look at that wheel!’ Earl Cooper said to Candy, his wife. ‘It must be much older than anything we have back home.’

I read “Circle Games”img_0005

United by the theme of the circle, these stories are set in the UK, the USA and Singapore. Five stories make this book:Quick Man Tan, The Wheel on the Wall, Special Clay, The Trishaw Man, and Beautiful Thing. I enjoyed this book because I could read wide stories.

A Picture to Remeber

21tjcnnbfnl I read “A Picture to Remember” in Cambridge University Press.

The author is Sarah Scott-Malden and this book was published in 1999.  This book was little long for me, but the story was interesting so I could enjoyed this book.

The main character is Cristina. She works in musseum and she likes her job. One day, she is going back, she found two men who have gums in car. She was so supprised. Then she hitted a taxi and was injured. As a resolt, she lost her memory.
